Pregnancy and Alcohol: HSE launches information campaign on Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Awareness Day

To mark Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Awareness Day on Monday 9 September, the HSE’s Alcohol Programme has launched a new information campaign to provide clarity and advice for pregnant women about alcohol and pregnancy. We ask that staff get involved with the campaign and inform patients and service users that: no amount of alcohol at any stage of pregnancy is safe for your baby. This new Pregnancy & Alcohol leaflet explains why.
